S&P record high…end of bear market?

One hot topic recently is that S&P making record high and there are worries that the bull market could end when the favorable conditions turn.

S&P chart

From the first chart, we could see that the S&P has more than doubled from early 2009, that’s a big rally so we “feel” that it may have gone up too much…

Or from the second chart, we find that S&P is at similar at the two previous peak in 2000 and 2007, and we all know how bad it was after the market peaked: ~50% crash!

But my favorite chart is the last one (actually took me some time to find it). It shows that S&P is in the “bear market” since 2000 and may start a new bull market.

So where is the market going? Not sure if anyone knows, but here is what Buffett said:

“The market is not cheap and not high priced. But over time if people hold stocks for 10 to 20 years they will make money. If they hold for 10 days I don’t know what will happen.”

PS: S&P chart as at end of Feb only.

My developer is trying to convince me to move to .
net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses.
But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using Movable-type on numerous websites for about a year
and am worried about switching to another
platform. I have heard great things about blogengine.net.

Is there a way I can import all my wordpress content into it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

A motivating discussion is worth comment. There’s no doubt that that
you need to write more on this issue, it might not be a taboo subject but generally people
don’t speak about these issues. To the next! All
    the best!!
